They will close hours early when there are disturbances onsite rather than remove the perps, creating inconvenience for good patrons.

We visited for storytime. We arrived to find it was supposed to have been cancelled, but huge shout out to Mrs. Fields! She did a wonderful storytime with the children in attendance on the spot. The library is in the community center and everyone is very friendly and helpful from the security guards to the pool staff to the librarians. Everyone made me and my children feel welcome. I love that there's a playground right there so after sitting and being quiet my toddler can get his wiggles and energy out.

The staff is really helpful. Granted the individuals visiting the library are not as polite I would have appreciated. I dontated some panels to the Deanwood Library and I look forward to them being utilized! Every DCPL you can make 20 free copies/prints per day. FYI

A lot of community resources and activities are easy to access in Deanwood. I've been in Deanwood for 6 years now, and I am content.
