Amazing park in the city that is great for both children and parents! I was very impressed with this playground. It has plenty of space for kids to run, climb and jump around. There are two main play sites, one for small kids (2-5) and another for older kids. Additionally, there is a sandbox that also occupy kids time without leaving the playground. The best and most unique feature, in my opinion, was the “mini track/trail” that went around the playground. This made it incredibly easy navigate and keep my infant occupied in the stroller while my toddler played on the playground features. Great park DCPR!

An amazing playground for children of all ages. It has ample seating with benches and picnic tables perfect for grandparents and caregivers of children to rest as the active little ones go about. The entire playground is totally fenced in so it’s completely safe from any traffic nearby with lots of free street parking available as it’s not located on the Main Street but more in the slightly hidden residential area. It has a baseball field right next to it, spacious sandbox, plenty of swings and spinning rides, a play set for the littles and a larger play structure for the bigger kids and a fun seesaw. We have loved it here! My five year old and four year old have such a blast whenever we come and then they like to go grab snacks at the stores on Connecticut avenue.

Beautiful park with lots of trees for shade and also a sand pit with toys.

People letting their kids or those watching the kids eat on the playground dropping food. I explained my son has food allergies like many do and to please let the kids eat on the benches provided but they just said they do it all the time and that my son isn’t the only one here. Just keep him away. But those kids were touching everything. Food allergies are life threatening and real. There needs to be signs put in. I even tried to call the number provided and I got a nursing home.

Fantastic park in a rather luxurious neighborhood. I went to attend my nephews Little League Baseball game. The only drawback was that the bleachers were set below some trees with exposed roots that made it very difficult for our 83 year old morther to traverse, and we witnessed one little boy trip, and smack his face on one of the roots. This needs to be addressed before someone gets hurt very badly.
