Great location with pool basketball court, indoor recreation, walking area outdoors, plenty of parking. They even have a DC car inspection station that's do it yourself. Great friendly people in the area Smithsonian African American and Hispanic culture museum on site as well

I am thoroughly confused. The park itself seems useful but I was there for the fort earthworks themselves - but the NPS sign is in the church parking lot to the west, there is no trail to the earthworks, and I'm left wondering exactly what the point is - the church has everything around the NPS marker slapped with "No Trespassing" signs, but the fort's remains are listed as administered by the National Parks in their Defenses of Washington brochures. What gives?!

I went to the DMV self-serve kiosk machine for my annual inspection and not the park. It was an easy process with plenty of parking in the back behind the pool. It's really quick and convenient.
