Fort Dupont Park

Nice park. Asphalt path leads to a trail from the parking lot. Quiet and it was clean.

Beautiful trail in the heart of the city. PSA: took my husky here and he walked out with over 40 deer ticks on him. Make sure your pet is up to date with tick meds if you choose to come out here!

Minnesota Avenue's woods hide the old fort as a ridge of dirt more than something you can climb. I followed a trail past the community garden to the activity center, where a bulletin board was advertising the summer jazz nights, and two guys were lighting a grill in a picnic grove.

Nice walking trail. Very clean and maintained. It's not far from home. It would be nice to have seating and perhaps picnic areas along the trail

My dog and I seemed to have the hiking trails all to ourselves this morning(besides a couple of deer families) which was a real treat! The wooded area was quite and beautiful. Although it seems like the trail maintaine could be better in some places and there was some illegal trash dumped near the community garden.
