Futsal court, full sized soccer field, tennis courts, basketball court and baseball diamond

Cute little playground nestled between tall buildings and the highway. The pool is closed, but the tennis and basketball courts were quite busy. There is also a small soccer field. Picnic tables and benches are shady, but the playground itself offers little shade. Bathrooms closed.

Zimmerman field is an embarrassment. DGS, please hold your contractors accountable for conducting turf maintenance. Please regularly inspect fields for maintenance issues. This park could be amazing if only someone maintained it. :(

My family loves this park. We have been bringing our family here for about seven years. This is a beautiful park and as the nautical theme is very charming. It also has a pool and I used to take fitness classes at the rec. The classes included Zumba, Soka Tribe (a Caribbean dance class) and fitness boot camps before the pandemic. They now have a beautiful museum next door call the Rubell.
