(There are several pass options) The staff was amazing and super friendly. Life guards very attenative and locked rooms were clean. Lockers are electronic and very easy to create your code to keep items secure. If you want to swim in the deep end be prepared to take a swim test. Most importantly bring a good attitude, it's a public pool there will be kids splashing aka having fun, so enjoy the vibe meet new people and get your hair wet! 😂
This is an impressive facility that offers so much more than just a place to swim. The Olympic-sized pool is fantastic—clean, well-maintained, and spacious enough that it rarely feels cramped even during busy hours. I was also really pleased with the separate children’s area, which makes it a great spot for families to enjoy the water safely. The locker rooms are large and kept tidy, and the staff members are diligent about safety and maintaining a positive environment for everyone. Whether you are looking to get in some serious laps for a workout or just want a fun place to take the kids for the afternoon, this center is a wonderful community resource. It is easily one of the best public pools in the area, and I’m so glad to have access to such a high-quality fitness space.
Broken equipment. Stationary bike blocked by barbells. Numerous complaints to DC DPR and CM George yielded no response. Still broken after years of complaining. Not a safe place to exercise.
Took my seven month old baby to swim on a Sunday around noon, and we had a good time. Quite a few people there but did not seem super busy. Very nice, large and clean facility. I wish the pool were a bit warmer. Knocking off a star because the kiddie pool was drained and none of the staff could tell me anything about why or when it would be back in business. I heard it was renovated last year so it makes zero sense why it was not up and running.
I came June 1st they closed before the 5pm closing time and told us all to leave. Came back the next day and the life jackets for the children were terrible all worn and torn up the jackets they did have were way over sized and would hide my daughters entire face which is unsafe let alone uncomfortable what I did appreciate was the nice life guard that saw and said she would ask her supervisors to order more. She told me to enjoy my swim very cool and chill. This other lady about 20-25 mins into me getting into the pool comes over and says I have to remove my cover up I’m 5 months pregnant and don’t feel comfortable with exposing my body and I should be able to wear what I choose I’m grown and you have more concerning issues which I have mentioned above than to be concerned with what a grown woman is wearing!! The other life guard said nothing so why are you harassing me !! I can’t stand people like her how you see my child and myself off in a corner of the pool because the kids are splashing hard and you say nothing but make it your business to confront me she needs to be worried about her job and doing a better job at it than my attire . It gave she was being funny and just wanted to say something because the other nice life guard didn’t even say nothing about it but here come this chick being petty!!
