Shepherd Park Juanita E Thornton Library

I love this library and I will miss it. But I will visit it again if I'm in the area and need its services again. It will be missed.

I love this library so much, and would go there a lot more if I could.

Two black librarians (both old; one male with a beard and female with long hair and glasses) did not allow me to print pages within 20 page limit. They changed the rules about how many pages to print last minute. Do not come here unless you wanna be nitpicked about printing pages. Also, the female librarian took a video FaceTime call on speaker mid-transaction as I was checking out two books. These actions are unacceptable behavior as librarians and they should be handled accordingly.

Even if most of the stuff in the library were very helpful and cooperative. The Head of the library has some kind of attitude towards some reader who comes to this place. I think the library deserves a better, helpful and organized leader.

Quaint library on edge of Silver Spring MD that has a lot of books by African Americans and about them. Found a lot of new books on all kinds of subjects. Got a great interior design book while there. Nice children's section. Library staff was very helpful and polite.
