A nice place to sit and work/study. The place is relatively quiet (I was there in the afternoon) but can get loud at times, place is clean you can get 20page free printing daily with your library card. The staffs are kind and informative but can be busy. You can book two quiet study rooms on the second floor or meeting room on the basement. Overall, a very good library and worth a visit. Instead of sit in a coffee shop to work, support local library and pay them a visit.

The Petworth Public Library is a spacious, three-floor library with a variety of offerings for all ages. The basement level features conference rooms that can be reserved, which is a nice option for meetings or group work. For families, the library has a very large, dedicated area for young kids, making it a great spot for parents to take their children for some quiet reading or fun activities. In addition, the library has an impressive selection of books, ranging from fiction and non-fiction to DIY guides, catering to a wide variety of interests. The bathrooms are relatively clean, which is always appreciated, and the staff is friendly and helpful, making for an overall pleasant experience. There is on-site parking available for about 20 cars, though it can get busy at times. If you're looking for a peaceful spot to read or study, there are plenty of comfortable seating areas throughout the library. Plus, there’s a copier and printer available on-site, which is handy for any printing needs. It may not always work though. Overall, Petworth Public Library is a great resource for the community, with something for everyone. Highly recommended!

The Petworth Library is a cool community hub and a great place to work. The building itself is beautifully maintained, offering a bright and comfortable atmosphere. The children's section is excellent, and the availability of public computers and quiet areas for study is a huge plus. The staff is consistently friendly and knowledgeable.

You can forget getting any work done in a quiet space here. They don't do jack to enforce a quiet environment. Lots of kids hanging around being loud, some of them playing music on their phones, people straight up talking on speaker phone. Such a waste.

The library itself is lovely, all the reading rooms get plenty of sunlight and the staff are super helpful. That said, there’s a rarely a quiet space to read or work, especially on weekends and after 2:30 pm on weekdays, when crowds of noisy teenagers flood every space, including the stairwells. It would be great if some rooms were designated quiet spaces.
