Whenever I can carve out time to get to the library I do. All of the staff are surpurb...& willing to help or leave you alone. All of the equipment works and if a book is not available at the branch, someone will get it there asap. Great place to do some research, study or just have a little quiet time.

A lovely new library. Fantastic staff and resources. A quiet place to read and study. Reserve a reading room for small groups up to four, maybe five people. Or, use the conference room for up to a dozen or so participants. DC Library System card holders can use computers, or laptops, and print as well.

Small, quiet library. Nice staff.

For parents with young kids, this library is kinda disappointing. They have the whole upstairs dedicated to kids, have a children’s librarian, and LOTS of toys but no children’s events. Only Saturday play for 2hours. Such a waste.

I volunteer with DC Public Library for 4 years. This was my first time volunteering at this library branch. The staff were nice and friendly. The library hosted a pumpkin festival earlier today which is actually a great event for the little kids to come out and decorate the pumpkins, play games, make trick or treat bags, enjoy the music, and do arts and crafts for Halloween. Overall, my experience at the Palisades Neighborhood Library is excellent. I hope I can get the opportunity to volunteer at this branch again one day.
