Very nice friendly library for kids. They also had a kid time at 11 am outside with many activities to enjoy. We played with interlocking cardboard circles and later drew with chalk. Inside, on the second floor, they have great space for kids to sit, read, and look for books.

Cozy library. Best for getting your books picked up. They have printing, PCs, and seating areas for your laptop but the atmosphere will often deter you. The desks for laptops has plugs but none work- been that way for years now.

The Northeast Neighborhood Library is a large public library near Stanton Park on Capitol Hill. It's three floors tall with private study rooms, meeting rooms, computer stations, and many books and magazines. A few things to note: 1) Outside space: There's a small green area in the front with benches to enjoy a book when the weather is nice. 2) Kid's area: The top floor houses a large kids selection with a dedicated play area with toys. They also host events like LEGO day! 3) Lobby: They often have small exhibits teaching people about D.C. history.

Great space. Exceptional staff. Libraries need more public funding. They are one of the best things society has produced.

A good little library. They have many computers for use, but they do fill up! There have been several occasions when I have seen all in use, usually later in the day. Also, much of the upstairs seating is prioritized for children -- the main adult section is on the first floor.
