Mt Pleasant Library

I always have a wonderful experience when I renew my card. I can check my emails, print a document, and even pick out my next book. The staff is incredibly helpful and friendly.

I love my neighborhood library they allow lots of services and activities specially for children. I can't believe anyone who is living in Mount Pleasant is not part of the library. Specially, if you have kids, I love the welcoming environment and the warmness that fill out the entire place .you can print 20 pages Color a day which is great advantage that makes me give up buying a new printer. We will miss it so much until it reopens back after renovations. The kids laying area was always a safe place for children to play specially in bad weather across from the library. There is a playground make it a perfect destination in winter and summer.

Awesome. I love the mom and pop vendors on the streets and the warm feel of community here. I love the Latino culture and this community is awesome. I live in Adam's Morgan area close by

A little rowdy and too many people sleeping around taking up space , chairs , tables and even most of the computers all day just watching videos and / or listening to music ! Not quiet at all ; people talking out loud and phones ringing - disturbing the peace ! This place is Not the definition of a "Library"..... it's just a place to hang out when certain people have nothing else to do . And only half of the employees are nice and helpful ; the other half feel bothered / annoyed when you ask them for help / assistance or even just a question .

The library is okay, the issue is the large amount of people who are sleeping and making a lot of noise in the space. It’s hard to focus on work or find space to sit down. This isn’t a library but more of a spot for the unhoused to go during the day.
