The two golden "Arts of Peace" statues that stand at the end of Potomac Parkway were sculpted by James Earle Fraser. "Aspiration and Literature" features Pegasus flanked by figures holding a bow and a book, while "Music and Harvest" shows a figures around Pegasus holding a sickle (harvest) and harp (music).
