View all on Google →Beautiful park and pond area! My boyfriend proposed to me near the signers memorial and it was very romantic!
Great place to visit right next to the National Mall. Instead of following the thicker crowds along the mall, enjoy a reflection of the Washington Monument in this area. The paths are more meandering through grassy areas and around the water. A small bridge takes you to the monument on an island surrounded by willows and ducks.
The Signers’ Memorial is nicely tucked in on an island within Constitution Gardens Pond which celebrates the 56 brave patriots who were risking everything by committing treason against the British Empire, for their rights and the freedom for their fellow citizens with a revolutionary idea of freedom for all. It is a beautiful location with a view of the Washington Monument. I highly recommend people visit this site.
Beautiful place for a little walk and very out of the touristy foot traffic
