Has different playgrounds for different ages, calisthenics equipment, tennis courts, bocce ball, open space, and shade. Best Park on Capitol Hill for locals. There is no view of anything a tourist would want to see, however, so hopefully that crowd takes advantage of other locations.

Recently renovated, Separate littles area and cool bigger kiddo equipment too, bocce ball court, nice paved waking paths, big old shade trees, 1 block wak to Whole Foods.

Be aware there is a homeless camp under the highway next to the park. I still felt safe during the day. All the locals seem very comfortable with it. Good selection of playground equipment.

Garfield Park is a great little 2 court facility, but it's still needs a lot of TLC. The cracks on the courts at this point are are an absolute safety hazard. I'm pretty sure the courts were resurfaced two years ago and they need it again. We all would appreciate the courts being cleaned off more often as well. Now one of the net posts has rusted out and only one court is available at Garfield Park. The city needs to fix this immediately, they need to just replace the Net post. It's truly disappointing that this great little 2 court facility is maintained so poorly.kids

A lovely park for a walk. The playground is a nice place for little ones to climb and play. The interstate noise can be overwhelming, but it's a nice park for families.
