It's a quiet retreat just a few steps away from Wisconsin Avenue. The southern view into Virginia are awesome. It's quiet inside just as it should be. I liked the wood paneling and the off white walls. I recommend this place. This sanctuary.
Needed to get my kiddo a Washington, DC library card. Mapped out the closest library to our NOVA home. The Georgetown Neighborhood Library came up, and boy is it awesome! The building is gorgeous and is perfectly landscaped. The inside is just as amazing. There are three levels of books, as well as a few private rooms that can be used with prior authorization. With my kid attending Washington, DC school, he can print up to 20 copies a day. The staff were professional, knowledgeable and helpful.
I have visit this library branch a few times to attend AARP sponsored events due to the convenient location in Georgetown area. It is handicapped accessible with ramps and button to push for entry into the building and elevators to the conference room downstairs. I love the Georgetown Neighborhood Library!.
I am so impressed by this library. It is clean, quiet, comfortable, and has friendly and helpful staff. To have such a gorgeous library available for free is such a privilege. Even the bathrooms are spotlessly clean. I am so thankful to those who spend time and effort keeping this place clean and nice. Thank you. Recommend.
Most of the computers don’t work. A *lot* of homeless people, even for a library, which wouldn’t bother me if they would leave me alone which they didn’t. I printed off a document twice, both times asking for single sided and both times coming back double sided. Staff kept gaslighting me about how I must have chosen to print it double sided even when I showed them a picture of it NOT being selected for double sided. I cannot believe I spent thirty minutes— THIRTY MINUTES— trying to print some basic documents and have nothing to show for it.
